Personal Care Visitation Guidelines

Reopening Plans & Guidelines

Resident Services & Programs

  • Personal housekeeping services for cottage residents permitted with restrictions. Personal housekeepers are not permitted in apartment buildings.
  • Non-emergent maintenance services for residential living residents permitted.
  • Beauty & barber services available by appointment.
  • Limited Spirit360 programs offered virtually. Additional programs are being offered in small groups, in addition to hallway and individual programming.
  • The library and fitness room are open.

Dining Services

  • Personal care residents will rotate in groups to dine in the dining room each day. If not dining in the small group, all other residents will be provided in-room meal service.
  • In-person, curbside and delivery meal service available for residential living cottage and apartment residents.

Testing, Screening & Remote Work

  • Ongoing testing of all residents and team members at our personal care residence based on county positivity rates and active cases within the community.
  • Ongoing screening of all team members and contracted ancillary/support service personnel at the start every work shift, includes temperature taking.
  • Ongoing screening of all vendors and other visitors who enter our campuses.
  • On-campus personnel limited to those who are essential to the care of our residents. Other team members working remotely.

PPE

  • Appropriate use of onsite PPE (personal protective equipment) for all team members.
  • Per guidance from CMS, residents must wear a face covering for their safety and the safety of their caregivers whenever a caregiver is in their room. Each resident has received two masks for their personal use. Staff will ask residents to put on their mask every time they enter your family member’s room. These masks will be washed in our laundry department to insure proper safety precautions are taken.

It is important to note that, if a resident or team member tests positive for COVID-19 at any time, we will immediately cease the reopening and move back to the “red” phase and reinstitute all COVID-19 precautions. In addition, if Gov. Wolf would declare a return to a “red” status for York County, we would need to immediately reinstitute all COVID-19 precautions.
