On May 10, residential living residents spent the afternoon building beautiful floral arrangements for Mother’s Day! Residents customized their arrangements with daisies, baby’s breath, carnations and additional greenery. One resident worked as a florist during her lifetime, so this was an extra special opportunity for her. It was an enjoyable, relaxing afternoon of many flowers and great conversation!
Recently, residential living residents had the opportunity to learn the basics of cake decorating! Cake decorating is most certainly an art, and it is safe to say that this group of decorators had a blast! Many residents adorned their cakes with intricate borders, swirls and various springtime elements like butterflies and flowers.
A big thank you to Hannah Willow, residential living Life Enrichment leader, for leading this fun and creative event!
Food, fun and fellowship! What a fun time celebrating Cinco de Mayo at our community! Residential living residents gathered together to experience their very own Cinco de Mayo celebration. Residents had a blast wearing their mini sombrero hats and shaking the festive maracas! Additionally, everyone enjoyed margaritas and the nacho bar!
Kudos to those who helped bring this festive celebration to life!
